During the week of November 5-9,2017, the Coastal & Estuarine Research Federation held an international congress in the United States (Providence) with the theme Coastal Science at the Inflection Point: Celebrating Successes & Learning from Challenges. During the congress, José A. Juanes, coordinator of the CONVIVE LIFE project, gave the paper “A socio-ecological approach for estuarine restorations in N Spain: the project LIFE-CONVIVE” in which he presented the CONVIVE project, its objectives and actions, to the public attending the event.
The congress organised by CERF, which is held every two years, attracts approximately 1500 attendees (scientists, managers, technicians and students) from more than 20 countries.
