We have already started with the CoEduca Natura workshops for the 2017/18 academic year. This past November 7th, the 5th and 6th Primary students of CEIP Valdáliga participated in the first CoEduca Natura workshop on the West Coast of Cantabria.
After a brief theoretical explanation of the Natura 2000 Network: what it is, what it protects and why it is necessary, we went to the Oyambre estuary to learn first-hand what these habitats of community interest are that we had heard about in class, what species we can find in the estuaries and what actions the CONVIVE LIFE project is developing to improve the conservation status of these areas.
